I asked for my ring to have a very natural texture, almost like a smooth hammered finish, and it looks better than I could have ever imagined. I reached out to Jordan last year about working with me on an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I didn't want to go to a retail store or buy a pre-designed ring. I had an idea of what I wanted, but didn't know how to go about making the ring special. I saw Jordan's videos on YouTube and immediately was struck with the care and professionalism of his craft. At first I thought there'd be no way I could afford hiring a goldsmith to smith me a ring for my girlfriend. Modern Goldsmith was and is the most pleasant and accommodating jeweller and vendor I have ever worked with.

I ordered my fiance's ring almost a year before the proposal date - Jordan went through every screenshot of rings I had sent. We discussed details of the metal colour, diamond grade, prong styles, halo diamond colour and more - Every single detail my fiance had told me, I was able to discuss with him.

His responses are so helpful and educational that I grew confident that he "understood the assignment". He blew our minds with the final design and production.As an international customer from the Caribbean, he also accommodated my request to deliver the ring to the address I wanted so I could have a friend bring it back to Trinidad.

I will be using Modern Goldsmith for so much more and have started discussions for another item.

My then girlfriend already had 3 stones she had inherited and knew she wanted them incorporated into a ring, which was great news to me! But I knew I needed to do something extra special with the setting. After a ton of research online, I came across some of Jordan’s work and was blown away by how beautiful and unique it was. I shot him an email and within a few hours we were chatting over the phone about what I was looking for. I loved that I was on the phone with the actual artist instead of some mega corp, and Jordan took the time to go through every step of the process with me. After the chat I felt totally at ease shipping the stones across the country to his shop. A few weeks later I received back the one-of-a-kind engagement ring of my now wife’s dreams!

I would have been totally lost without Jordan’s vision and expertise. He somehow translated our ideas into the perfect symbol of relationship, a perfect love knot!

When our ten year anniversary was coming up, my husband gifted me a pink moissanite stone to upgrade my ring with. I’ve been following Modern Goldsmith’s social media and knew right away I wanted Jordan to create my new ring.

Having a ring custom made without being able to see it in person beforehand may sound daunting, but the entire process from sending Jordan my stone to receiving the finished ring was worry-free, smooth, and professional. Everything was done in a timely manner. Jordan listened to my ideas and gave feedback and suggestions, provided mock ups, and kept me updated through the entire process.
